Meet Max Holland

Overview

Max joins the commercial litigation team following his admission to the Legal Profession in 2022. Having obtained a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from Griffith University in 2020 and a Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training from QUT in 2021, Max is passionate about the Law and resolving complex legal issues in a commercial manner.

Having a background in hospitality and customer service, Max has carried with him a fundamental customer service skillset, making for a seamless transition into his role as a Solicitor, given his ability to understand, communicate and work with clients to achieve a strategic commercial resolution with consideration for his clients’ best interests.

Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Max has assisted clients with a range of unique commercial issues, working closely with the commercial litigation team to represent individuals, companies and bodies corporate in matters involving leasing disputes, contract breaches and disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, misrepresentation, costs assessments and defamation claims.

During such matters, Max focusses on providing accurate and detailed advice, drafting concise Court documents and informative briefs to well equip Counsel or Senior Associates in preparation for Court appearances and Trial.

The nature of litigation and commercial matters has developed Max’s skills which include:

  • Conducting thorough legal research, case analysis and assessment of prospective outcomes for each matter;
  • Collaboration and concise communication to effectively contribute to decision making within the litigation team, in order to achieve strong results within strict deadlines;
  • Effectively deconstructing complex legal issues, in order to tailor advice to clients on tactical strategies to achieve a suitable resolution.

Max is eager to assist clients’ with any commercial issue, in order to achieve a positive resolution to all matters in an efficient and effective manner.
