Overview

As an accredited Family Law Specialist, Craig has over 22 years’ experience in family law and de facto relationship matters.

The Queensland Law Society awarded Craig the accreditation program’s Highest Achiever as “a recognition of his true level of expertise in this area”.

With a focus on relationship property, parenting and maintenance, Craig’s experience enables clients to consider strategic, easy to understand advice and have disputed matters resolved via negotiation or litigation, should it be required.

He is known for being a resource for both clients and family lawyers alike, his having co-authored a national reference work called ‘The Family Law Book’, a publication that provides practical advice, precedents and up-to-date legal analysis to other family lawyers. Craig’s research and case work is published in each State’s law society magazine – so monthly by the law societies of Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia and quarterly by the law societies of the ACT, Northern Territory and Tasmania.

His experience also includes presenting as both chair and expert speaker at conferences convened by the Queensland Law Society and the Family Law Practitioner’s Association (FLPA).

He is recognised by Doyle’s Guide in the category of Recommended Family Lawyers – Gold Coast (2017 – 2019, 2021 – 2023).
